Passed by MacArthur Park where arts nonprofit Portraits of Hope got volunteers to paint the giant beach balls and released them in the lake. It decorated the lake quite well but unfortunately did not get rid of bad smell that still lingers around the lake.

This is me attending a friend’s birthday party this past Saturday. I’ve fallen in love with all the Helmut Lang bra tops because of the modal jersey they use – so stretchy and comfy! They go well under jackets and/or as a layered piece and you can also wear it by itself as a top since the quality is not flimsy. It’s rare (or never) I wear a crop top by itself but a high waist skirt helps with coverage and still shows a little skin without it being too revealing. They come out with different variations of these bra tops every season and I have to try hard not to get all of them!

It’s been a few months and no formal announcements were made but… I’m engaged! We’ve been procrastinating on the planning and that’s all everyone seem to be asking us. Recently we finally started venue shopping, and it’s been quite fun visiting places and making adventures throughout LA in search of our perfect spot. Just visited the Carondelet House in K-Town. The Italian villa might just be our favorite so far! It has old school charm and feels very intimate. Have a few more locations on our list, and hopefully will make a decision soon!

Not only does Rihanna bring me outfit inspirations on the daily, she apparently also has the ability to make spend money outside of fashion. Sporting a Catwoman printed dress during an outing, I found out that the print is by a French artist named Gregoire Guillemin. Upon further research, I found out that it belonged to a series by the artist called “Secret Lives of Heroes.” It chronicles superheroes and cartoon characters doing everyday things, including brushing teeth, shaving, and doing laundry. I liked them so much that I ended up purchasing a few canvases to hang in my apartment! Below are a few of my favorites from the series.
